JAMMU, Feb 23: In connection with the ongoing campaign for the Lok Sabha elections, candidates of People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Yash Pal Sharma and Arshad Malik addressed series of public meetings.
Yash Pal Sharma, MLC and party candidate for Jammu-Poonch Lok Sabha seats addressed public meetings in Marh assembly segment, while as Arshad Malik, party candidate for Udhampur-Doda Lok Sabha seat addressed a public meeting at Khelani in Doda assembly segment.
Terming National Conference (NC) led coalition regime as total failure on all fronts, Yash Pal Sharma said that Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has been repeating the same blunders which were committed by earlier National Conference regimes.
Sharma regretted that instead of taking some effective steps to solve problems of the masses, this regime has been further multiplying miseries of the people through its wrong policies.
Rajinder Singh Manhas, Amar Singh Josh, Haji Taj Khan, Balwant Singh and Rajinder Singh Chib also addressed the meeting.
Meanwhile, Arshad Malik, while addressing a public meeting at Khelani said that conditions of roads in this belt reflects failure of the Government.
He said that road connectivity was the biggest problem in this region but the Government has failed to improve road connectivity.
He said that the only noticeable achievement of this Government was legalization of corruption.
Among others who addressed the meeting included Mushtaq Rather, zonal president, Shoiab-ul-Haq, Mehraj Khalid, Qamir Din, Sarpanch, etc.
