JAMMU, Aug 5: A joint delegation of NC Minority Cell and interviewed unemployed youth of PM package called on Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner M L Raina here today and discussed the issue of these candidates with him.
The delegation was led by M K Yogi president NC Minority Cell. The delegation while discussing the issues with RRC said that the selection lists of the youth have not been released yet who have been interviewed long back. It said while some posts have been listed other posts in Tourism Department, ANM (Medical), drivers, electricians, fitters etc have not been listed which is a cause of concern.
The delegation also demanded that the implementation of PM package be taken on fast track basis so that the deserving youth of the community can earn their livelihood as there is already resentment for delaying the implementation of the package for years together.
Yogi said that the migrants are facing problems due to delay in issuance of State Subject Certificates as the Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner has not been assigned the authority of signing these certificates. He in an appeal to Revenue, Relief and Rehabilitation Minister urged him to assign the authority to RRC so that the migrants don’t face problem on this account.
Yogi also demanded posting of staff in Relief Organization as migrants are put to hardships due to shortage of staff and stressed on timely distribution of relief and ration.
Raina informed the delegation that he has already issued instructions for smooth and transparent functioning of the organization and all pending issues will be sorted out soon.
B K Bhat, P L Talashi, T K Koul, Jitin Bhat, Amit Koul, Rinku Raja, Sumit Dhar, Sidharath Sundar, Rahul Pandita and Rahul Sadhu were other members of the delegation.
