NC reflects urges of all regions, sub-regions: Slathia

VIJAYPUR, Nov 17: Describing National Conference as a public movement, State Vice President of the Party and MLA Vijaypur Surjeet Singh Slathia today said that it reflects the urges and aspirations of the people of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh.
“National Conference has established its representative character and it is ingrained in every part of the State because of its secular and democratic character”, Mr Slathia said while addressing election meetings at Thaan Kalahan, Swankha, Dunne Chak, Pauon Chak, Chak Hira, Chaka Shama & Chak Chattaka in Vijaypur Constituency.
Mr Slathia, who is NC candidate for Vijaypur Constituency, said that his Party has espoused the cause of the people at every fora  at the national level, which has become eyesore for the opponents who have been indulging in malicious campaign because of their frustration. He said National Conference will not deviate itself from the chosen path of public service and it is always prepared for any sacrifice to uphold the honour and dignity of the people.
Referring to the contribution of Omar led government during the past six years, Mr Slathia said a futuristic approach has been adopted while implementing various developmental projects and implementation of welfare schemes that have transformed the profile of the State. “The holistic development in all sectors speaks of the single minded approach adopted by the Chief Minister to steer the State and all its three regions to new pinnacles of development. He described restoration of peace as the single most significant achievement that has paved way for progress and development in a big way. He said despite numerous odds, development has got new dimension and this odyssey will continue in next six years.
Mr Slathia also gave on overview of the developmental activities taken in the Vijaypur Constituency during the past six years, saying this initiative will continue in future as well. He exhorted the people to come forward in a big way on the days of polling and press their choice for National Conference.
