JAMMU, Dec 16: Chief Minister and National Conference working president Omar Abdullah said today that the National Conference members in the Rajya Sabha would support Lokpal bill tomorrow.
“NC looks forward to the Lokpal bill coming up for discussions/vote in Parliament, where all our members will support it,” Omar tweeted tonight.
The NC has two members in Rajya Sabha-Mohammad Shafi Uri and Ghulam Nabi Ratanpuri and three in Lok Sabha-Union Minister Dr Farooq Abdullah, Dr Mehboob Beg and Sharief-ud-Din Shariq.
The Lokpal bill was scheduled to be taken up in Rajya Sabha tomorrow.
