JAMMU, Apr 6: With a view together support for the alliance candidate Madan Lal Sharma, Women cell of National Conference Jammu province vice president Rita Gupta conducted door to door campaign in Panjtirthi area here today.
While speaking on the occasion, she urged the public for extending their full support to the NC- Congress party in Lok Sabha Elections and appealed them to work whole heartedly for the party to ensure the victory of coalition candidate.
She stressed the people to defeat divisive forces for the development of Jammu and told that these forces have their own nefarious designs which can mar the developmental process which has been initiated by our coalition Government. He further told that these divisive forces were hell bent upon segregating people on communal and regional lines but NC – Congress being a secular and progressive Coalition Government will not allow any such forces to hinder the progress of our State and we will always work for the peace and prosperity of the State.
The speakers highlighted achievements registered during the past over five years of Coalition Government led by Omar Abdullah and said that the various welfare measures and development schemes have contributed in improving the living conditions of the people in a big way.
