JAMMU, Oct 15: 17 NCC Cadets from GCW, Gandhi Nagar bagged 10 gold and 2 silver medals in the Thal Sainik Camp (TSC) held at Delhi. In Tug of War, team comprising of Cdt. Shivani Singh, Cdt. Sapna Sarmal, Cdt. Harleen and Cdt. Ruby got 1st position.
SUO Kavita Sanmotra and JUO Shivani Slathia got 2nd position in Shooting Competition. In judging distance and field signal competition the team comprising of Cdt. Sapna, Shivani Singh, Neetu, Manju, Raveena and Ruby got 1st position and total of 12 medals were won by cadets of this College.
Dr Kiran Bakshi, Principal of the College congratulated the cadets for this achievement.
