REASI, Feb 12: National Cricket Club (NCC) Reasi defeated White Cricket Club (WCC) Jammu by 51 runs to advance in the ongoing Sadbhavana Cup T20 Cricket Tournament, being organized by Reasi Cricket Club at Sports Stadium, here.
Batting first, NCC scored 145 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in stipulated 20 overs. Sanju (40), Arjun (34) and Rakesh (25) were the main scorers, while extras contributed 18 runs to the total. For WCC, Lateef took 3 wickets and Imran claimed one.
In reply, WCC collapsed at 94 runs in 16.5 overs, thus lost the match by 51 runs. Rahul, Sunny and Vaneet contributed 21, 16 and 13 runs to the total. Pankaj was the pick of the bowlers for NCC, who scalped 4 wickets, while Rash Pal claimed 2 wickets. Sanju was declared man of the match.
The match was officiated by Shubam and Vaneet as umpires, while Madan Thakur was the scorer.
