JAMMU, Apr 30: National College of Education (NCoE) organized alumni-meet in the College premises with the aim to reconnect alumni of previous academic sessions, here today.
The event commenced with lighting of lamps by Principal Dr Manju Dwivedi and faculty members. The students of the College welcomed the alumni with ‘Saraswati Vandana.’ The event was marked with activities like musical chair, pick & choose chits, solo dance, song poem recitation etc.
Many alumni from previous sessions gathered to revive their old memories. They appreciated the efforts of the faculty members for organizing alumni meet which created a special bond between the students who have passed out and have established themselves already in the outside world.
The alumni were also honoured by Principal Dr Manju Dwivedi by presenting them mementos. The programme was conducted under the supervision of IOAC Cell, Incharge, Yashumati Jamwal.
Faculty members including Meenakashi Sharma, Aneesha Jamwal, Arti Verma, Pooja Gupta, Deepika Jasrotia, Kusam Lata, Payal Sethi, Rajani Gupta, Deepika Jamwal and Vikas Shan were present on the occasion.
The meet concluded with vote of thanks by Neetu Sharma, a senior faculty member.
