JAMMU, Oct 13: Chairperson National Commission for Women, Mamta Sharma today held a meeting with the district administration on women issues at PWG Guest House.
During the meeting, NCW Chairperson had a detailed discussion on various issues, which include crime against women, rape cases, acid attack, molestation cases, matrimonial cases, Domestic Violence Act, PC and PNDT Act, developmental interventions for women and sensitization programs.
She took feed-back on these issues from the officers and laid stress on taking initiatives to address the same.
