JAMMU, Feb 24: National Democratic Party Indian (NDPI) J&K president, Rajesh Gupta today called on Farooq Khan, Advisor to Lieutenant Governor of J&K and discusses various issues of general public and Floriculture Department.
The NDPI leader also discussed SRO 202 and demanded its revocation.
He said that Bagh-e-Bahu park is facing neglect and demanded repair of all water channels and fountains in the park.
Gupta further said that as per the new recruitment rules, every new appointee shall be entitled to a minimum pay scale as per the grade pay applicable to the post against which he or she is appointed.
“However, he/she shall be entitled to annual increments and allowances (HRA, DA and CCA) only after successful completion of his/her five years of service on a consolidated salary,” he maintained.
Gupta said that denial of due increments will have detrimental effect on the service and pension of the employees and this will lead to pay anomaly in future.
Khan assured the NDPI leader that he will positively consider his views.
