UDHAMPUR, Apr 24: Blaming the BJP-PDP coalition Government for ignoring the aspirations of educated youth of Jammu region, Panthers Party State president, Balwant Singh Mankotia, today said that continuous neglect of educated youth in employment sector has raised the resentment against the coalition Government in Jammu region.
Mankotia was addressing a gathering in Ladda Panchayat, a far flung area of Chenani constituency, where Party’s Haq-insaaf Yatra started for separate statehood for Jammu region, reached today.
The Panthers Patry leader said that on the appeal of Prime Minister, youth of Jammu region whole heartedly voted for BJP to end discrimination faced by them since 1947. With the mandate of people, BJP came to power in J&K but unfortunately the saffron party too adopted same yard sticks with the patriotic youth of Jammu region by not providing employment.
He alleged that selection list of various Government jobs released by the Government proves that present BJP-PDP regime has fixed the ratio of 90:10 in employment sector by discriminating the youth of Jammu region by providing 90 percent jobs to Kashmir and 10 percent to Jammu region.
Mankotia warned the coalition Government that Panthers Party will not tolerate the biased attitude of the present Government and has initiated mass contact program to make people aware about the demand of separate statehood for Jammu region.
He said party’s senior leaders, workers are also contacting youth of Jammu region to garner the support for separate Jammu State. Mankotia said Panthers Party is receiving huge response for its cause and assured that in coming days no one can stop Jammu region from becoming a separate State.
