KERALA, June 17:
Indian bowler Sreesanth’s friend Jiju Janardanan, who was also arrested in IPL spot-fixing today said he was innocent in this case and have faith in judiciary and believed that truth will prevail .
Talking to newspersons at his house at Koothuparamba, Mr Janardanan also said he never contacted any bookie and has no idea about who dragged his and Sreesanth’s name in the spot-fixing scam.
He also said that all stories about his connection with the bookies are wrong.
Mr Janardanan reached his house yesterday, after receiving bail in the spot fixing scam along with Sreesanth.
Sreesanth reached Kerala on June 13, when he got bail and later visited Sabarimala temples. (UNI)
