JAMMU, Feb 24: New Challengers Cricket Club got better of National Cricket Club by a narrow margin of 7 runs in a low scoring match of the ongoing KC Sports Club Cricket Tournament, being palyed at KC School ground, here.
Earlier, batting first, New Challengers scored 71 runs in 17.3 overs. Top scorer was Sahil Balwal who scored 16 runs, while Rahul Mussa contributes 11 runs to the total. From the bowling side, Vijay took 3 wickets while Deepak bagged 2 wickets.
In reply, NCC failed to chase the target and fell short of 7 runs to lose the match by a narrow margin. Gokul Baru top scored with 17 runs. Sahil Bhalwal of New Challengers was declared man of the match.
