JAMMU, Mar 9: New Era Environmental High School celebrated its 39th Annual Prize distribution ceremony here today.
Anand Jain, ADGP Jammu was the Chief Guest, Johnny William (Retd IGP) was the Guest of Honour and I.D. Soni was the Special Guest at the event.
The programme began with the lightning of the lamp by dignitaries and a welcome dance by students. Maitree Jain, Principal presented a brief history and annual report of the school followed by students of class nursery presented a dance on ‘Aaj Hai Sunday.’
The students were awarded for their past year’s performance in academic, punctuality and co-curricular activities such as cooking without fire, rangoli making, quiz etc. The teachers of Class 10 were also given a cash award for 100% Board results.
ADGP, Anand Jain praised the school management for trying to bring out the individuality of the students, developing their character and preparing them for life in the most appreciable manner. Later, mementos were presented to dignitaries by Prabha Jain, Chairperson of the school.
