New Hope Christian Cricket Academy wins U-14 exhibition match

JAMMU, June 22: New Hope Christian Cricket Academy defeated Christian Sports Club by 83 runs in the Under-14 exhibition cricket match organized by New Hope Christian Union Bakshi Nagar, Jammu at Government Girls High School Bakshi Nagar, here today.
The match was organized with an objective to provide platform to the budding cricketers to exhibit their talent.
Earlier, New Hope Christian Cricket Academy after batting first scored 115 runs in the allotted 12 overs for the loss of one wicket. Prince was the main scorer with unbeaten 52 runs in 32 balls with 5 sixes and one boundary. Max Gill was the other batsmen who scored 27 runs in 18 balls. Aryaman of Christian Sports Club took one wicket.
In reply, Christian Sports Club was bundled out for 32 runs in overs and none of the batsman of Christian Sports Club reached in double figures. For  New Hope Cricket Academy, Prince was the wrecker-in-chief, who took 5 wickets in 3 overs, while Arjun took 2 wickets. Vatsalya Gupta, Jatin and Max took I wicket each. Prince of New Hope Cricket Academy was adjudged as man of the match for his all-round performance.
The match was officiated by Rinku and Pawan Mooman whereas the score book was maintained by Christopher Gill.
The prizes were distributed among the winners and runners-up teams by the guests who were present on the occasion including Rajesh Gill, former Ranji trophy player, Rakesh Bhurat, Masih Sunny Khokhar, Lazar Gill, Sonu, Jyoti Mooman and Nitu Khokhar.
