KATHUA, Dec 21: The New Millennium High School Nagri-Parole celebrated its 10th Annual Day, wherein Dr Bharat Bhushan, Chief Executive Officer, Integrated Watershed Management Programme, J&K was the chief guest.
Anil Singh Andotra, President Municipal Committee, Nagri-Parole was the guest of honour and Joginder Sharma, former senior executive of J&K Bank was the guest on the occasion.
The programme started with the lighting of a ceremonial lamp by the chief guest and other guests. Chairman of the School, Kushal Sharma presented the progress report of the School and apprised that the School has been excelling in academics and extra-curricular activities.
The students presented a variety of cultural items and informative skits on water conservation and drug abuse.
Anil Singh Andotra exhorted the students to gear up for upcoming exams, while the chief guest, Dr Bharat Bhushan in his address complimented the management of School in coming with brilliant academic results year after year and hoped that School will maintain the tempo in future also.
He also exhorted students to be harbingers of environmental and sanitation consciousness besides concentrating on academics.
The Principal of the School complimented parents for assisting students to come out brilliantly both in academics and other activities. The programme concluded with recitation of the National Anthem.
