JAMMU, Dec 1: To promote sports and allied outdoor activities, Gold’s Gym organized a football game with former Jammu football league winning side NGR Football Club, here today.
The game started well with Gold’s Gym showing some great defence against the former champions. However, NGR managed to score a goal in the first half.
The second half started as a disaster for Gold’s Gym as NGR scored back to back goals early in the half. However, Gold’s Gym turned the tide of play after that and managed to score 2 goals against the former league winners. But their efforts fell short as the game ended 3-2. Randhir Singh scored a hat-trick for NGR. Great spirit and energy was shown in the game by both the teams.
Superintendent of Police, Mukesh Kakkar was the chief guest on the occasion.
