NHPC organizes blood donation camp

JAMMU, Sept 28: A blood donation camp under the theme of “Jeete ji Raktdan, Mrityu ke baad Angdan” was organized today in NHPC Office Complex, Narwal.
Bikram Singh (Executive Director, Regional Office, NHPC) Jammu formally inaugurated the blood donation camp. In his address, he said that a meaningful effort can be made to fulfill our social obligations. “Blood donation is a pious act and in the prevailing scenario it is the best contribution one can make to the society,” he said, adding, organizing the blood donation camp reflects our social responsibility approach towards humanity and our commitment to the society.
A large number of NHPC employees, CISF Jawans and employees from other departments voluntarily donated blood during the camp. Dr Niti Dutt and her medical team from Government SMGS Hospital Jammu in collaboration with NHPC RO Medical team conducted this blood donation camp and collected the blood for needy persons.
P. Sathyamurthi GM (HR), Dr R.S.Rathi (CMO), Dr Karmvir Hans (DCMO) and other senior officers and employees were present on the occasion.
