SRINAGAR, Mar 17: National Investigation Agency (NIA) team this evening raided the residential houses of suspended DySP Davinder Singh at Indra Nagar, area of Srinagar.
An official said that the NIA team accompanied by the Police and CRPF personnel conducted searches inside the Singh’s house at around 6.30 pm.
During the raid, the NIA has seized a Santro car bearing registration number JK21-0697 which was parked in the courtyard of the house.
On January 11, police arrested Davinder Singh on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway when he was transporting militants Naveed, Rafi and Irfan to Jammu.
After initial investigations by the J&K Police, the case was handed over to the NIA.
