NIA takes over Pak drone case

JAMMU, July 6: National Investigation Team (NIA) took over the case of shooting down of a Pakistani drone carrying one (US-made) M4 carbine machine, two filled magazines (60 rounds) and seven Chinese grenades near International Border.
According to the FIR registered by the NIA, the BSF patrolling party at Pansar noticed and shot down a hexacopter inside the Indian Territory. The initial investigation has revealed that sender and receiver of the consignment may be linked to JeM as the launch pads of JeM are located in Shakargarh-Narwol belt of Pakistan side of International Border just opposite to the place where the drone was shot down.
