LONDON, Oct 29: Singer-turned-filmmaker Nick Carter has pulled out of plans to appear at a weekend horror fan convention in Atlanta, Georgia to stay at home with his family.
The Backstreet Boys star was booked to appear at the Walker Stalker Con to meet fans of his Dead 7 zombie TV movie, but he has had to scrap the trip, reported Contactmusic.
“I apologize to all the fans that would have attended the @WalkrStalkrCon in Atlanta,” he wrote on Twitter.
“Don’t worry, Everything is ok (sic). Just need to be home.”
Carter and his wife, Lauren, welcomed their first child, son Odin Reign, in April.
He co-wrote and co-starred in “Dead 7”, which premiered on America’s SyFy Channel weeks before his kid’s birth.
The western-themed film, directed by Danny Roew, also featured his Backstreet bandmates AJ McLean and Howie Dorough and NSYNC’s Joey Fatone as gunslingers. (PTI)
