JAMMU, Dec 1: Nigarish Zehra , class IInd student of Delhi Public School Jammu was conferred with ‘Student of the Year Award 2016-2017’ by CEEOINDIA in collaboration with State Government and Ministry of Skill Development , Entrepreneur, Youth Affairs and Sports, Govt. of India for her dedicated role towards her society and school .
Nigarish had participated in online campaigning and subsequent telephonic interview on the theme Empowering Girl Child and won the heart of the judges based on her answers, attitude and her leadership qualities.
Out of hundreds of entries received by CEEOINDIA, Nagarish topped the list of 15 recipients in the J&K state.
Principal, Delhi Public School Jammu, Ruchi Chabra presented the award to little Nigarish in the morning assembly in presence of her mother to boost her morale. Headmistress, Meenu Gupta was also present on the occasion.
