JAMMU, Apr 3: The first season of ‘Night short boundary cricket tournament’ organized by Youths of Dairy Farm came to an end on Sunday night at Vivekananda Kendra Nagar Palika Vidhyalaya, Dairy Farm, here amidst a colorful display of fireworks and mesmerising musical notes.
Congress Campaign Committee Chairman, TSG Bhasker attended the grand finale ceremony as the chief guest while Councillor Y. Joga Rao, Councillor V. Ravichandran and president of Andhra Association B. Mohan Rao were the guests of honour.
The final match played between RB Youth Club and DD XI, was witnessed by the chief guest and other dignitaries.
Both teams played to their skin and after eye-catching competition, team RB Youth Club emerged victorious. Chief guest TSG Bhasker congratulated the winner and runner-up teams for taking part in the tournament and encouraged the players by giving cash prizes, trophies and mementos.
He congratulated the youth of Dairy Farm for organizing such an event. He also thanked everyone for their contribution towards the success of the tournament.
