Ninad wins in cadet boys, Divyam in sub junior

JAMMUI, Dec 27: Ninad defeated Aman Gupta in straight sets by (11-09, 11-07) to move into the next round of cadet boys event, while Diyam toppled Sharukh by (3-0) with the scores of (11-06, 11-01, 11-07) to advance in sub junior boys event of the ongoing 34th State Open Table Tennis Championship, being organized by the J&K Table Tennis Association at Indoor Complex, MA Stadium, here.
In another match of cadet boys, Abhey Koul trounced Anant by (11-07, 08-11, 11-05) in a tough contest, while in other matches of sub junior boys, Manavdeep got better of Anuj by (3-2), Asad prevailed upon Eshan by (3-0) and Ritvik Gupta defeated Arnav by (3-0), with the final scores reading (11-05, 11-04 and 11-02).
Meanwhile, in junior boys category, Sunpreet outplayed Aman Chowdhary by (11-08, 13-11), Abhiraj trounced Jalees by (11-09, 09-11 and 11-08), Minham Rishi outclassed Kanav Mahajan by (11-02, 11-03), Ritvik Gupta got better of Rishab Gupta by (11-07, 11-04), Sanmeet Jamwal defeated Ankit Arora by (11-06, 11-09), Asad beat Taufeeq by (11-03, 11-08), Manandeep defeated Shahrukh by (11-08, 11-09) and Divyam got better of Arnav by (11-07, 11-05).
