JAMMU, Feb 23: Sant Nirankari Satsang Bhawan, Shastri Nagar, today celebrated the Birth Anniversary of Satguru Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj as Guru Pooja Diwas, in its premises here today.
On the occasion, a cleanliness and tree plantation drive was rendered by the Nirankari devotees all across the Jammu city with a message “Cleanliness is next to Godliness”, “Green City Clean City”, “Nar Sewa Narayan Pooja”.
The drive was conducted at more than 15 places including GMC Jammu, Chest Disease Hospital, SMGS Hospital, Gandhi Nagar Hospital, Bus Stand, Railway Station, Shastri Nagar, several Government Schools etc.
A congregation (Satsang) was also held, which was presided over by Rev Ajit Singh, Zonal Incharge, Zone No 1 of the State.
Addressing the devotees, he said a True Master (Satguru) occupies a place of supreme importance in the entire universe. Generally people relate to him through body, mind, and intellect, but the True Master is a unique entity with whom we have inseparable relationship of soul.
A community Langer was also organized on the occasion to serve the devotees.
