JAMMU, June 8: NIS Club today lifted the Kho-Kho President Cup 2024 by 3 points in a close encounter with SAI Club.
Amit, Satyam and Vansh of SAI Club played but Sumit, Ansh, Sourabh fought well for the NIS Club with their exceptional skills. Good defending help NIS Club to clinch the title by defeating the SAI Club by 3 points.
The chief guest on the occasion was BS Tirthi (former treasurer, KKFI) and guest of honour was Pawan Kumar (district president, Kisan Morcha). Chandandeep Singh (president, SAI Club) and Sandeep Kumar (treasurer, SAI Club) distributed the medals and trophies to runners up and winners.
The matches were officiated by Madhur Chaudhary, Damanpreet Singh and Yogesh Kumar.
Present among others were Amrinder Pal Singh (general secretary JKKKA), Pankaj Malhotra (International Player), Tarmeet Raina (joint secretary JKKKA), Dhiraj Sharma (Coach JKKKA), Sunil Sharma (Mentor SAI) and Sahil Dev (Mentor NIS).
