Srinagar, June 10: Gove-rnment today said no separate circular has been issued by the General Administration Depart-ment (GAD) regarding premature transfers.
In a written reply to a question of MLA Rajiv Jasrotia in Lower House, Minister Incharge GAD, stated that no separate circular instructions have been issued by the GAD regarding transfers as well defined norms regarding transfers or postings stand already notified vide Government Order number 861- GAD of 2010 dated 18-7-2010 (Transfer Policy).
“Premature transfers wherever unavoidable in the interest of administration are ordered with prior approval of competent authority as provided in the Transfer Policy,” the Minister stated.
The Minister further stated that no specific complaints vis-a-vis premature transfers, if any, effected in different departments since November, 2015, have been received and a well defined mechanism is already in place to ensure that the grievances concerning various issues are redressed in a bound manner.
