JAMMU, Aug 6: In view of commencement of academic session in Jammu as well as Kashmir Division, the Department of School Education has announced that no further transfers of the teaching faculty shall be made henceforth.
According to a circular, issued in this regard, any modifications of the transfer orders, already issued, shall be made only with the approval of the Administrative Department.
Further, only such transfers as are necessitated on account of rationalization, providing adequate staff for already enrolled students, promotion and those awaiting posting orders, shall be made with the prior approval of the Commissioner Secretary, who shall take fortnightly review of these matters, the circular added.
Meanwhile, according to an order, issued by the Commissioner Secretary School Education Department, the Director School Education Jammu/Kashmir have been designated as competent authority for their respective divisions under clause 2(0) of Government order number 435-Edu of 2010, dated 30-4-2010.
