North Bengal wins Inter-Frontier BSF hockey title

JAMMU, Oct 24: Defeating Jammu in the title clash, North Bengal lifted the title, while Rajasthan got the third position in the 37th Inter-Frontier Hockey Competition 2013, which concluded, here today.
North Bengal defeated Jammu Frontier by 2 goals to nil (2-0).
The chief guest on the occasion was Maj General Ashwani Kumar, GOC, 26 Inf Div.
A colourful march past was carried out by the players which was followed by cultural programme presented by joyful children of BSF School Paloura.
The chief guest distributed medals to the winners and the runners-up teams in a glittering valedictory function at KK Hakku Astroturf Stadium in Jammu.
11 Frontiers of BSF from all over the country participated in the competition, which was organized by Jammu Frontier.
