Srinagar, Feb 20: The Northern Army Commander Lt General Ranbir Singh arrived here today for a two day visit to review the prevailing security situation post the recent operations in which top Jaish-e-Muhammad (JeM) leadership was eliminated.
The Army Commander accompanied by the Chinar Corps Commander Lt General KJS Dhillon, also visited the 92 Base Hospital in Badami Bagh Cantonment, Srinagar, where he enquired about the health of the recuperating soldiers injured in the recent operations. He wished them all a speedy recovery.
The Army Commander complimented the Commanders and troops for their exceptional courage and excellent professional conduct. Appreciating the excellent work and vital critical care being provided by the doctors and support staff of 92 Base Hospital, he commended them for being the lifeline of the Valley.
Later, the Army Commander was given an update by the Chinar Corps Commander on operational and administrative aspects. He was very appreciative of the valour and professionalism of the Security Forces operating in Kashmir.
