UDHAMPUR, May 24: Army Public School Dhar Road hosted Northern Command Inter APS Volleyball tournament for both boys and girls which concluded here today.
The participating schools in the tournament were Army Public School Dhar Road, Army Public School Udhampur, Army Public School Nagrota, Army Public School Akhnoor and Army Public School Rakhmuthi.
The event concluded with the distribution of prizes by the Chairman of the school as chief guest on the occasion.
Earlier, the final match was played between Army Public School Udhampur and Army Public School Rakhmuthi in both boys and girls categories.
Army Public School Rakhmuhti won the tournament in boys category, while Army Public School Udhampur bagged the winners’ trophy in girls category. Army Public School Udhampur was runners-up in boys’ category whereas Army Public School Rakhmuthi claimed runners-up trophy in girls category.
The winners and runner- up teams were awarded with trophies, medals and certificates by the chief guest.
Finally, vote of thanks was presented by the Principal of the School, Jyoti Bedyal.
