RAMBAN, June 7: Police arrested a notorious drug peddler along with cannabis.
As per police sources, based on reliable information, a police team led by DySP Headquarters Imtiyaz Ahmed under the supervision of SSP Ramban Mohan Lal apprehended a notorious drug peddler with over one kilograms of cannabis.
The accused has been identified as Abdul Majid Sheikh, son of Din Mohammad Sheikh, a resident of Lower Maitra. He was arrested earlier also for indulging in supplying the drugs.
A case under FIR Number 68/17 under NDPS Act has been registered against the accused at Ramban police station and investigation started.
