JAMMU, Feb 17: Bagh-e-Bahu police arrested a notorious land grabber and a criminal, who were evading their arrest since long.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Bagh-e-Bahu police station conducted raid in Ragoora area and arrested a notorious land grabber.
The accused has been identified as Mohammad Sadiq alias Fikka, son of Noor Hussian of Dwara Rangoora.
He was wanted in various cases including land grabbing cases registered with different police stations.
Meanwhile, Bagh-e-Bahu police also arrested a criminal, who was evading his arrest since long.
He has been identified as Vikrant Bist, son of Lal Bahadur Bist, a resident of Gorkha Nagar, Bahu Fort.
He was involved in various cases registered with Bagh-e-Bahu police station and was at large since long.
Further investigation into the cases registered against them is going on.
Police team led by SHO Bagh-e-Bahu police station Inspector Vijay Choudhary made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO East Chandan Kohli, SP South Shaazad Salaria and SSP Jammu Uttam Chand.
