RAJOURI, Mar 30: Nowshera Sports Club lifted the Volleyball Championship trophy by defeating Sunderbani Club in the final match held at Bhawani, Nowshera, here today.
The Championship was organized by District Police Rajouri under its Civic Action Program Police. The tournament matches were held at Bhawani Nowshera and Government Higher Secondary School Bajabain (Sunderbani) under the aegis of RPHQ and DPO Rajouri.
Additional SP Nowshera Mohd Rafi Giri was the chief guest in the final match of the Tournament which was played between Nowshera Sports Club and Sunderbani Club. Nowshera Sports Club lifted the Champion’s trophy by defeating Sunderbani Club by sets 3-0 score (25-18) 25-16) (25-12).
Speaking on the occasion, Additional SP Nowshera emphasized the young and budding players of the area to allow their minds to explore their own thoughts and imagination through the medium of sports. SDPO Nowshera Tousif Ahmed, SHO Nowshehra Rajesh Jasrotia and Sunderbani Army officers and civil society members were also present on the occasion.
