KATHUA/SAMBA, Aug 28:  The Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party State president and former MLA Balwant Singh Mankotia today kick started 2nd phase movement of Party’s Haq-insaaf yatra for separate Jammu State to garner the public support. On the occasion, he thoroughly discussed the issue of 35A with the people of these two districts.
While addressing series of rallies at Kathua, Samba and Bari Brahmana today, NPP leader said that party had launched its first phase of Haq-insaaf yatra for separate Jammu statehood demand in every nook & corner of Jammu region some time back and people whole heartedly supported the movement.
After successful completion of first phase in the month of July, party decided to launch 2nd phase from August 28, 2017 to regain momentum for separate Jammu statehood demand by carrying out Haq-insaaf Yatra to seek justice for people of Jammu region.
Mankotia reiterated that re-organization of Jammu and Kashmir, separate Chief Minister for Kashmir and Jammu is the only remedy to end discrimination with Jammu region. He further informed that from August 29 to 31, under Haq-insaaf yatra rallies would be organized at Kishtwar, Doda, Ramban districts to mobilize people support on separate Jammu statehood demand. From September Ist to 4th, public rallies would be organized at Rajouri, Poonch, Udhampur and Reasi districts to seek support of masses for separate State. He further said that during Haq-insaaf yatra, party will seek support and feedback from people on 35A issue.
On the occasion, former minister State president Young Panthers, Yash Paul Kundal informed that for election of party president and chairman on September 9, new election delegates would be constituted for successful completion of election at party level.
Others who spoke on the occasion included Kathua district president of the party Robin Sharma, Samba district president Shiv Charan Sambyal, Youth president Kathua Balbir Singh and Hiranagar tehsil president Rohit Sharma.
