NSF flays change in administrative jurisdiction of Bhalessa

JAMMU, Nov 1:  Flaying the Government decision to alter administrative jurisdiction of Bhalessa from Doda, Ishtiaq Naik, NSF district president Doda, has criticized the move, which would force the people of Bhalessa to travel to Bhaderwah instead of Doda for their official work.
While addressing media, here today, Ishtiaq Naik said that the decisions would force people to travel a distance of 115 kms from Bhalessa to Bhaderwah in the office of ACD instead of Doda which is just 60 kms for getting their official work done.  He said that more than 80 thousand population of Bhalessa was aghast and dismayed with the Government decision.
He further said that Government was going to open Gandhoh-Jaie-Bhaderwah road which remains closed during winter season due to heavy snowfall and cannot serve the desired purpose.
While appreciating the demand and views of 53 Panchayats of Bhalessa, Ishtiaq Naik strongly urged the Government to review its decision and threatened to launch an agitation if their demand is not considered.
