JAMMU, July 30: Slamming the action of BJP Govt to demolish the historical Mubarak Mandi complex for converting it into hotel, the present Government is directly attacking the Dogra history and history of Dogra princely state.
This was stated by Dr Vikas Sharma, president National Secular Forum (NSF) in a press conference today and strongly criticized the BJP Government saying that it is now hell bent to vanish the Dogra history and culture as BJP first broke J&K State into two Union Territories and now the Govt is converting Mubarak Mandi complex into Hotel, which is in bad taste, he added.
He urged the LG Government to review its decision to convert this monument into hotel and preserve this heritage monument with which the people of Dogra land are emotionally attached and will not tolerate any attempt to decimate the Mubarak Mandi complex, he cautioned.
