NSF protests for creation of posts in JU satellite campuses

JAMMU, Apr 27: National Secular Forum today protested against the State Government for its alleged discriminatory attitude towards Jammu in respect of creating posts for the satellite campuses of Jammu University.
During the protest, which was held on JU campus, the NSF activists raised slogans against the State Government.
Addressing the protesters, NSF president Dr Vikas Sharma alleged that Jammu University was being neglected by the Government which was giving more importance to Kashmir University. He said that the Minister for Higher Education called a meeting last month for KU satellite campuses and the requisite posts were created whereas no similar exercise has so far been carried for the satellite campuses of  JU.
He also lamented the Jammu based politicians and leaders were not raising the issue.
Among those who were present in the protest included Sukdev Singh, Ravi Choudhary, Narinder Singh, Vikram Madhyal, Balveer Singh, Barket, Jagmohan Singh, Tanveer,  Bupinder Singh,  Pushpinder Singh, Pardeep Kumar, Ankit Raina, Vimal Singh, Sheetal Aryan, Vinod Kumar and others.
