NTEA discusses demands

JAMMU, Dec 19: The emergent meeting of Non – Teaching Employees Association SKUAST-J was  held under the leadership of its president of the association, B N Singh at its main campus Chatha, here today.
The meeting was attended by large number of delegates as well as office bearers. During the session threadbare discussion took place pertaining to the overall functioning of the university. The participants expressed resentment towards callous approach of university authority on the long pending issues of employees.
The office bearers in one voice criticized university work culture and divulged that nevertheless repeated assurances to full fill long demands, the same are pending due to despotism.
While addressing the gathering, Singh lambasted university authority for delayed tactics in clearance of minutes of meeting held with higher authority during pen down strike.
Disclosing that still no requisite action had taken by competent authority, even after a lapse of more than three months, Singh appealed university authority to resolve all such grievances which are pending for their redressal since long. Mr Singh said we have been left with no option but to opt path of agitation.
