NYC holds protest

JAMMU, Feb 23: Nationalist Youth Congress (NYC) held a protest over the behaviour of legislators in the Assembly during its sessions and criticized them for staging often walkouts and resorting to the disruption of house proceedings.
The activists of State NCP youth wing Nationalist Youth Congress (NYC) led by State president Gourav Kapoor assembled outside Press Club and held protest demonstration.
Addressing the gathering, Kapoor said that the issues related for the welfare of the people, should be sorted out with discussions and not by creating ruckus in the Assembly.
He added that the same is leading a wrong perception on the youth about the working of politicians in the State and has also generated a lot of public resentment.
Kapoor further stated that the pepper spray incident in the Parliament has also left the voters across the country in the state of shock.
“If Legislators, Member Parliaments will do such kind of objectionable thinks and will not discuss the issues related to the people, this would create problems for them in the forthcoming elections”, he added.
He asked the Legislators and Member Parliaments to become the role model of youth and refrain themselves from doing such objectionable things.
