POONCH, Jan 31: Nehru Yuva Kendra Poonch Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Govt. of India in collaboration with Indian Youth Development Forum Poonch is organizing seven days long adventure camp, which got underway here today.
Twenty five participants from four districts including Jammu, Kathua, Rajouri and Poonch participated in this camp which was declared opened by Pardeep Sharma, Senior BJP leader Poonch.
The participants went through various activities like rock climbing, cleanliness activities and special session of educating and motivating the participants about the flagship programmes including Pardhan Mantri Jhandhan Yojana, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.
ACD Bashrat Hussain delivered a lecture on construction of toilets under Swachh Bharat Mission, while Shamim Bandhey spoke on cleanness drive.
K.K Sharma representative of NYK Poonch, Mohd Shafiq, president of Indian Youth Development Forum, Sudesh Gupta president Nation First Society J&K and Nitin Banotra were also present.
The participants of adventure camp will visit and rejoice the experience of Indo-Pak trade center Chakan-Da-Bagh, Nandi Shool water fall, Dargah of Sain Illahi Baksh at Loran, Shri Buddha Amarnath Shrine Mandi, Gurudwara Nangali Sahib, Saloonia, Noorpur and Dargah of Sain Miran Sahib Shahpur LoC.
