JAMMU, Mar 24: Nehru Yuva Kendra (NYK), Global Sampark Youth Club (GSYC) in collaboration with Helpline Humanity organized prize distribution function of district sports tournament at Jagti, near here.
Fifteen teams in different games including Kho- Kho, Khabaddi, Volleyball and Athletics participated in this tournament.
The aim of the tournament was to provide opportunity to the rural youth to showcase their sporting talent.
On this occasion, Tirth Singh Salathia, National Vice President India Sports Sangh, Rattan Lal Pandit, Vice President J&K India National Sports Sangh, Akshey Sharma Prant Paryojana Promogh, MK Bhat president Helpline Humanity, Roshan Lal Bhat Director Hee Maa Public School Dhammi, Sameer Ji Koul In-charge Mata Sarswati Pustakalaya A Library Cum Book Bank and Manoj Kumar Secretary Global Sampark, Sanjay Sopori and Pintoo Ji.
The Kho- Kho trophy was lifted by Hee Maa Public School, defeating Rural Development Youth Club, the Volleyball trophy was lifted by Helpline Humanity Youth Club, defeating Global Sampark Youth Club and the Kabaddi trophy was lifted by Lakshmi Youth Club by defeating Hee Maa Public school.
