POONCH, Feb 25: Nehru Yuva Kendra (NYK) Poonch, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports (Govt of India), organized 2-Days District Level Sports Meet at Govt. High School Kalai, Block Lassana, which concluded today.
Around 200 youth participated from all blocks. There were total five events of Sports Tournament which included Volleyball, Short Race, Tug of War, Kho-Kho and Kabaddi.
In Volleyball, Shaheed Mumtaz Club clinched the title, while Chandak-B emerged runners-up.
In Kabaddi, Tiger Club Kalai was the winner, while Friends Worrior was the runners-up.
Dr Shamim Banday, Govt Degree College Poonch was the chief guest on the occasion.
Later-on, Kanwal Kumar presented vote of thanks to all the participants. He also highlighted the programmes of NYKS for youth development.
