OCC drubs BCC by 9 runs

JAMMU, July 22: Oriental Cricket Club (OCC) drubbed Brahum Cricket Club (BCC) by 9 runs in a one sided match played here today at KC Sports Club in 1st KPL Pink Cricket Tournament.
Batting first BCC scored a paltry total of 74 runs by losing all wickets in 16.1 overs. Sarthak scored 10 runs in 7 balls while Vishal made 11 runs in 10 balls. For OCC, Rocker bowled tightly and took three important wickets by conceding only 6 runs in his 2-over spell while Vicky also claimed 2 wickets in 4-over spell by giving just 11 runs.
In reply, OCC easily chased the target in 6.1 overs by losing just 1 wicket and thus won the match by 9 wickets. Vimarsh made unbeaten 45 runs in just 27 balls whereas Chander scored 21 runs in 16 balls. For BCC, Rajesh took the only wicket in his 3-over spell by conceding 14 runs.
The matches were officiated by Rakesh and Sunny as umpires while Rehan Rana acted as scorer. The tournament is being organized by Krish Sports & Event.
