JAMMU, May 4: Defeating YSCE convincingly in the quarterfinals, Oriental Cricket Club entered the semifinals in the ongoing 2nd KCSC T20 Tournament at KC Sports Club ground, here today. Earlier, winning the toss and batting first, YSCE scored a fighting total of 136 runs in stipulated 20 overs. Bilal played a magnificent innings of 48 runs, while Akash and Shashi contributed 35 and 24 runs to the total respectively.
From OCC, Arun bowled a superb spell of 4 overs and took 4 important wickets, while Kaka took two wickets and Deepak and Vicky claimed one wicket each.
In reply, OCC sailed on brilliant knocks from Bunty and Vicky to chase the required target in 16.2 overs. Bunty played a magnificent innings of unbeaten 35 runs, while Vicky and Avesh chipped in with 30 and 15 runs respectively. For YSCE , Sujal and Akash took two wickets each, Vivek claimed one wicket. For his all-round performance, Vicky of OCC was declared as man of the match.
Sadiq Hussain Malik and Abhijyot Singh Bedi were the umpires , while Sohail Yousuf maintained the scorebook.
