JAMMU, July 22: A delegation of Old Janipur’s Civil Society People Development Action Committee today met with higher officials of Jammu Development Authority (JDA) here and raised various development issues pertaining to the areas.
They demanded that a Chowkidar, two Gardeners should be deputed for caretaking of the JDA park, falling under the jurisdiction of Executive Engineer Division-II, Ware House Jammu. “A shed should also be constructed inside the Park for social gathering, especially for ‘10 days kriya’, fountain pipe should be installed as soon as possible,” they added.
“Community Toilet-cum-Bathroom and a Hut should also be constructed inside the JDA park”, they said.
They stressed upon sanitization and fogging of the said area and its adjoining parks due to increase in numbers of COVID-19 cases.
