JAMMU, Oct 16: An old man today died of drowning in Purkhoo area of city outskirts.
According to a police spokesperson, Diwan Chand (80) son of Mansa Ram and resident of Purkhoo died due to drowning in Ranbir Canal in Purkhoo area.
His body has been recovered and shifted to mortuary room of Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, for post mortem, he added.
