SAMBA, Oct 12: An old woman died after consuming some poisonous substance at her residence in village Jatwal. She was identified Krishna Devi , 65, wife of Bishambar Dass.
She was shifted to DH Samba in a serious condition where from she was referred to GMC Jammu where doctors declared her as brought dead.The Samba police has registered a case under Section 174 in this regard.
Meanwhile, a decomposed body of a 40 year old man was found in Dadwada forest area of Billawar in Kathua district today. The dead body after verification was identified to be of Bishan Singh , S/o Jai Singh of village Dadwada. Singh was reportedly missing for last four days. The Billawar Police has registered a case under Section 174 and started investigation. The dead body was kept in the mortuary of Sub District Hospital Billawar for postmortem which will be conducted tomorrow. After that the body will be handed over to family for last rites.
