Omar wants CM to visit injured

SRINAGAR, July 18: Upping the ante on Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti over the unrest in Kashmir valley, main opposition National Conference (NC) working president Omar Abdullah today said she went to see her injured MLA is understandable, but not visiting any other injured is inexplicable and unforgivable.
People’s Democratic Party (PDP) MLA Mohammad Khalil Bandh from Pulwama constituency was today injured critically when his vehicle met with an accident during a stone pelting incident in the south Kashmir district.
“That @MehboobaMufti went to see her injured MLA is understandable; that she didn’t visit any other injured is inexplicable & unforgivable,” Mr Abdullah, the former Chief Minister of the State, wrote on micro-blogging site Twitter.
However, the tweet got a mix response with some agreeing, and others disagreeing with the observation. But majority of them were hitting at both the leaders. “@abdullah_omar #wen in power Govt plays and hide n seek n opposition does the talking .its the ppl who suffer not politicians,” a tweet lashing out at all political parties read.
“@lalitadvani @abdullah_omar @MehboobaMufti atleast she didn’t run away to London like your pop did, or worse when you were CM in Floods,” another tweet read. “@abdullah_omar That @MehboobaMufti Ji didn’t visit doesn’t mean she has no sympathies for the injured,” tweet supporting Mr Mehbooba read.
