UDHAMPUR, June 2 One person died and four others of a family got injured when two cars collided near Rehamble, Udhampur.
Reports said that that an Alto car bearing registration number JK02AS- 4045 collided with a Santro car PB06M-4021 at Rehamble. The injured were rushed to District Hospital Udhampur where one Madan Lal son of Thakur Dass of Shakti Nagar Udhampur succumbed to his injuries while others were referred to GMC Jammu for advanced treatment.
The injured persons were identified as Ajeet Singh (45) son of Janak Singh, his wife Jasvinder Kour and two daughters’ Jotshana (16) and Gurcharan Kour (16).
Meanwhile, in another accident, a minor among six passengers were injured when an over speeding minibus turned turtle while on way from Manwal to Udhampur.
The injured were identified as Ajay Singh, son of Romal Singh of Manwal, Rajni Devi wife of Kuldeep Raj of Manwal, Jogeeta Devi wife of Sanjeev Singh of Majlta, their four month old child, Arti Bandral wife of Ashok Singh of Majlta and Sudershan Kumari wife of Parkash Singh of Majlata.
